Shanghai Disneyland Announces First-Ever Halloween Event

Running September, 25 to October 31, 2017, the spooky spectacular will include new entertainment, park-wide decorations, special merchandise and food, and for the first-time guests will be able to their own wear costumes to Shanghai Disneyland.
Halloween is set to well and truly take over Shanghai Disneyland, with Disney Character Jack-O-Lanterns and Mickey-shaped spider webs(!), as well as other spooky decorations soon springing up across the park.
At night fall the all new “Villains’ Cavalcade”, featuring Hades, Maleficent, and Dr. Facilier, will descend on the park. The wicked procession along the parade route will include the sinister sound of “Friends on the Otherside” from The Princess and the Frog.
Over in Treasure Cove, look out for Ghost Pirates recruiting guests to undertake a dangerous adventure. The interactive experience is inspired by Captain Salazar and his ghoulish crew from “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”
Meanwhile, Tomorrowland will host a high-energy dance party inspired by fan favourites the Guardians of the Galaxy. Those on Mickey Avenue will also be in for a treat as Mickey Mouse and friends put on their best Halloween costumes and take photos with guests.

Starting September 29, every Friday to Sunday, as well as October 30-31, there are special Dance Parties along with surprise appearances by Mickey and Minnie. Then, starting on weekends from October,13, children up to 16 can go trick-or-treating at participating stores in Disneytown.
