Shanghai Disneyland Hotels offer Early Park Entry and Fastpass Reservations

Guests staying at Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel can now enjoy early park entry and advance Fastpasses.

The new hotel perks will help guests get their day off to a smooth start by entering through the smaller Disneytown entrance and avoiding the crowds at the main gate. Entering Shanghai Disneyland early and already having a Fastpass saves guests a lot of time. We have all the details below!

Be sure to check out our reviews of the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel for more on what the hotels have to offer.

Advance Reservation of Disney Fastpass

Guests can reserve Fastpasses in advance only if they booked their Disney hotel and park tickets as part of a package on the Shanghai Disney Resort website, App or through the Shanghai Disney Resort Reservation Center.

When checking in, guests can claim a Fastpasses for use the following day for each guest staying in the room. Each Fastpass is linked with their park ticket and photo.

  • One Fastpass per person on the reservation per day of your stay
  • Fastpass reservations are for the following day
  • The Fastpass is linked to your park ticket
  • Make the reservation at the concierge desk

As with a regular Fastpass, it has a designated attraction and timeslot to use it, and if you miss your time the pass is invalid. Check out our Shanghai Disneyland Trip Planning Guide for Fastpass tips and our recommended attractions.

Priority Entrance to Shanghai Disneyland

Hotel guests can also enjoy early access to Shanghai Disneyland via the Disneytown entrance, even if they booked their hotel room and tickets separately. Guests are able to enter the park 30-minutes before park open. This may change without notice. It’s best to ask Cast Members at the Hotel.

To enter early, guests will need to bring their tickets, credentials provided by the hotel, and government-issued ID or travel documents (Passport). The hotels will only give one set of credentials per room, so the party has to arrive and enter at the same time.

Guests who need luggage storage, wheelchair rental or ticketing services, will have to head to the main entrance as usual.

It’s a game changer. Nice benefit for resort hotel guests. Will they charge more to stay at the resort hotels now? I’d do almost anything to avoid the main entrance lines again. Let’s hope this entrance doesn’t get too backed up.

So it says one fp per person per day. Do I get all of them at check in or do I go back to desk everyday to get one for next day? I’m going for 3 days.

Drat! This comes 2 months too late for me 🙂 Although, with only 2 bag checkers at the Disneytown entrance, the lines were insane!
