The Walt Disney Company has announced that Singapore is set to host the D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event for the first time in 2027. The move is part of D23’s global expansion, following the debut of a D23 Brazil – A Disney Experience in late 2024.
D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is latest in the global expansion of Disney’s ultimate fan-experience, having launched in 2009 by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. The multi-day event treats fans to live stage presentations, interactive experiences and a tonne of must-have merchandise. Attendees can also get the scoop on upcoming attractions, with Disney using the fan event to announce upcoming experiences, such as the upcoming Spider-Man coaster coming to Shanghai Disneyland.

The location of the D23 Asia event should come as no surprise. This past March saw the maiden voyage of the Disney Adventure out of Singapore, now embarking on three- and four-night voyages from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre. The new cruise line also represents the beginning of a five-year collaboration between the Singapore Tourism Board and Disney Cruise Line.
