Sanrio Puroland is about to transform into a magical flower shop during the park’s Flower Puroland event, in which Hello Kitty, who became a florist, carefully nurtured many flowers, including the magical flower “Puro Flower” that only blooms in Puroland.

The limited-time Spring event will be offered from Saturday, April 8, to Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Entertainment

At the Tree of Wisdom stage, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a special limited-time performance, ‘Flower Puroland’, featuring Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Dear Daniel wearing brand new denim and floral-inspired costumes. The show celebrates florists who bring joy to people’s lives with their beautiful flowers.

Character Greetings

At the Flower Puroland Special Greeting, guests can enjoy an exclusive experience with a character dressed in a charming florist outfit. Characters include  Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, and Wish me mell. Advance reservation is required for this paid experience.

Visitors can also participate in the Flower Workshop & Greeting where they can create unique items inspired by the characters using ethical flowers. The workshop will offer various items such as herbariums inspired by Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel, and photo frames inspired by My Melody and Kuromi. Afterwards, visitors can also take part in a special photo session with the character as a keepsake. Advance reservation is required for this paid experience.

Photo Spots

Upon arrival at the third-floor entrance, visitors will be greeted by a vibrant and colourful flower display perfect for photo opportunities. Keep an eye out for the hidden character-shaped flowers! The display features ethical flower topiary to raise awareness about excessive flower wastage.

Special Food and Drink

Starting from April 7th, 12 unique menus that celebrate the theme of “flowers” will be available. The limited-time menu includes eye-catching dishes such as the “Sunflower Field’s Aozora Mince Curry,” which features a large sunflower as its centrepiece, and the “Flower Basket Muffin” shaped like a basket.

Merchandise

A range of merchandise featuring beloved Sanrio characters dressed in floral-themed costumes will be available. Each character has a unique outfit, featuring flower crowns and denim clothing. Items of note include a denim headband, plush character mascots and konpeitou, traditional Japanese sweets.

A flower shop, which is also featured in the ‘Flower Puroland’ show will be available in Puroland as an actual store where visitors can purchase real flowers and floral-themed merchandise. Guests also have an opportunity to see Sanrio characters in the shop, wearing their florist costumes.
