“Rise of Skywalker” Scene Added to Star Tours in Tokyo Disneyland

To celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the version of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue at Tokyo Disneyland is offering a limited-time scene from the new blockbuster. This new scene is being shown between December 20, 2019, and March 19, 2020, at Tokyo Disneyland. It’s also being shown at the other versions of Star Tours at other Disney Parks around the world: Disneyland Paris, Disneyland, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

If you haven’t watched the new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, I recommend watching the film before experiencing the attraction. This is to avoid any spoilers. In Japan, the film is called “スター・ウォーズ スカイウォーカーの夜明け” which translate to “Star Wars: The Dawn of Skywalker.”

Star Tours typically doesn’t have a long wait at Tokyo Disneyland. It’s easy enough to ride multiple times a day, especially during the end of the day. I recommend saving this to fill time between FastPass return times and shows. I wouldn’t bother with using a FastPass on here unless it’s a very busy day. Read our one-day Tokyo Disneyland itinerary and FastPass strategy to see how you’re able to work this into your day.
