Summer 2024 at Tokyo Disney Resort

Get ready for a soaking good time this summer at Tokyo Disney Resort, with the parks offering new exclusive merchandise, limited-time activities to get you soaked in Japan’s hot summer months, and summery food and beverage options to quench your thirst.

Summer at Tokyo Disney Resort will be offered from Tuesday, July 2nd to Wednesday, September 18th.

Tokyo Disneyland Summer Offerings

During the event, guests will be able to enjoy limited-time offerings to help you keep cool in the summer heat. This year will see the return of the park’s drenching program, offering exciting opportunities to get soaking wet, along with the return of a popular seasonal overlay.

Guests can experience a unique version of Splash Mountain called “Drenched MAX!” which will leave them completely soaked. While Tokyo Disneyland’s normal version of Splash Mountain is less wet than its prior American counterparts, guests are guaranteed to get dripping wet for a strictly limited time.

Over in Toontown, young guests can get drenched by the Jolly Trolley Garage, Toontown Fire Station, and the Fireworks Factory. “Soaked” Toontown features cool mist and water spouting like waterfalls.

This summer will also see the return of Baymax’s Mission Cooldown. To cool off from the heat, Baymax from Big Hero 6 will appear on the parade route at Tokyo Disneyland to spray guests. Baymax is on a mission to raise the ‘energy levels’ of guests, which has decreased due to the heat, and will search for areas in need of care while spraying them with a cool mist.

From Friday, May 17th to Thursday, November 7th, the special summer Vacation Jamboree version of Country Bear Theatre will be presented for the first time in five years. The show features the Bear Band Jamboree in vacation-themed outfits as they celebrate the many joys of summer and the great outdoors.

This year will also see the return of Drenched Wet Time at both parks, where cast members sprinkle cool mist on guests who want to cool off. Guests are encouraged to approach cast members walking around carrying barrels of water on their backs to cool down.

Disneyland Summer Menu

Tokyo Disneyland will provide a range of limited-time food and drink options to help you beat the summer heat. Tokyo Disneyland’s Plaza Pavilion Restaurant will be serving shaved ice with refreshing fruit pulp, a cold curry udon, and cold noodle dishes at China Voyager, and Camp Woodchuck Kitchen. Additionally, various restaurants will offer a summer-themed “SuiSui Summer” menu with souvenirs.

Tokyo DisneySea Summer Offerings

Over at Tokyo DisneySea, guests can enjoy the summer version of “Aquatopia” which promises a soaking experience. The summer version of the ride sees the self-driving water vehicles take passengers on a drenching journey, with the added excitement of not knowing where or when they will get wet.

Aquatopia currently is available as a “Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary Priority Pass”, which will be available for a limited time during the summer program.

Tokyo DisneySea Summer Menu

At Tokyo DisneySea, a new cool Churro (creme brûlée style) will be released for the summer season, featuring a crispy outside and cool chewy inside. Additionally, the park will feature refreshing chilled noodles, refreshing cold drinks, and the aforementioned “SuiSui Summer” menu with souvenirs.

Summer Clothing

Both parks will have a variety of summer merchandise available for purchase to help you enjoy the summer parks to the fullest, including a line of Disney-themed Hawaiian shirts a collection showcasing retro Tokyo Disney Resort park logos, and a SuiSui Summer range featuring Mickey Mouse and Friends.

Hotel Offerings

Disney Ambassador Hotel will offer a special menu themed to the summer program “SuiSui Summer” from Monday, July 1st to Saturday, August 31st. The hotel’s restaurants will offer special menus items with original charms and special drinks with original coasters.

Lastly, on the Disney Resort Line, SuiSui Summer design tickets will be available at ticket vending machines at each station.
