Sweet Duffy, Frozen Fantasy, & Tower of Terror: Level 13 Return to Tokyo Disney Resort for Winter 2017
Tokyo Disney Resort has released detailed information about their winter schedule at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. From January 13, 2017, until March 17, 2017, guests can enjoy a variety of entertainment options at both parks.
This includes:
- Tokyo Disneyland
- Tokyo DisneySea
- Sweet Duffy
- The Year of Wishes: Grand Finale
- Tower of Terror: Level 13 “Shadow of Shiriki”
There are lots to look forward to this winter at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea! Let’s take a closer look.
Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy 2017
For a third time, Frozen takes over Tokyo Disneyland with a brand new nighttime show and decorations. Along with the return of their daytime parade and greeting. Make sure to read our full guide, so you don’t miss a thing.
Frozen Forever
A brand new castle projection show featuring characters and scenes from Disney’s Frozen. The nighttime show “Once Upon a Time” does not run during this period.
- Location: Cinderella Castle
- Duration: ~15 mins
- 1-2 times daily
- Lottery Show (only for seats in the castle forecourt)
Frozen Fantasy Parade
A fun parade along the parade route with characters and villains from the movie. Similar to last year’s parade.
- Location: Parade Route
- Duration: ~45 mins
- 1-2 times daily
- 5 floats
- 85 performers
Anna and Elsa’s Winter Greeting
- Location: Castle Forecourt
- Duration: ~18 mins
- Once daily
- 16 performers
Decorations
This year a few new decorations are added throughout Tokyo Disneyland!
- New photo place with Anna and Elsa skating in front of Cinderella Castle at the Plaza.
- A new sleigh photo place in Fantasyland
- Fantasyland themed to the castle and forecourt of Arendelle
- Snowgies are hidden throughout the park once again
- Ambassador and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel have themed room keys and goodies for guests
- Disney Resort Liner decorated with a themed monorail
Merchandise
No event is complete without new merchandise with around 60 items. We will update once more information is released.
Special Menu
Last but not least is limited food items. The snowgie bun makes a return along and the Crystal Palace is offering a special buffet themed to the surprise birthday party Elsa threw for Anna in Frozen Fever.

- Lounges at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and Ambassador
Tokyo DisneySea
The 15th-anniversary show is changing their name for the Grande Finale to Crystal Wishes Journey: Shine On!. Which also includes a nighttime version of the show. Read more about it in our full update. A specially decorated monorail debuts and limited time decorations at the monorail station!

- 2 times daily
- 120 performers
Sweet Duffy
Duffy’s very own special event — Sweet Duffy — makes its return with special decorations, merchandise, limited time menu, and special costumes for the greeting with Duffy and ShellieMay. The limited time menu is found in select restaurants in the park and the restaurants in the MiraCoata. Check back for updates on these items.

Tower of Terror: Level 13 “Shadow of Shiriki”
The Tower of Terror once again receives a limited time version of the popular attraction. Tower of Terror: Level 13 “Shadow of Shiriki” boasts more thrills and special effects by the hands of the cursed idol, Shiriki Utundu.
