    What’s Happening at Tokyo Disney Resort – July 2019

    It’s July, and summer has come to Tokyo Disney Resort! That means lots of new merchandise, food, decorations and two huge events. At Tokyo Disneyland, the brand new Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer is underway, while the fantastic Disney Pirates Summer returns to Tokyo DisneySea. The Duffy’s Sunny Fun and Funtime with Toy Story 4 continue too. The biggest closures are Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek! and Splash Mountain in Tokyo Disneyland.     Tokyo Disneyland Natsu Matsuri – Merchandise 2018

    Disney Natsu Matsuri returns to Tokyo Disneyland from July 10 – September 2, 2018, with a range of bright and summery merchandise. Natsu Matsuri means “Summer Festival”, so the designs feature elements of a traditional Japanese festival, including Mickey and friends in festive dress and Chip and Dale enjoying plenty of summer snacks. The items go on sale on July 8, 2018, at Tokyo Disneyland, with the full Natsu Matsuri event starting on July 10. Some items may also be on sale in Bon Voyage and the gift shops at the resort hotels.     Our next review comes Ben Miller, who had the opportunity to visit the Tokyo Disney Resort. I am a huge fan of the 1920s and 30s so it certainly comes as no surprise that my favourite Disney Hotel in Tokyo is Disney’s Ambassador Hotel. The resort is located next to the Ikspiari shopping centre and makes a perfect cut through if walking from Tokyo Disneyland to Tokyo DisneySEA.
