    What’s Happening at Tokyo Disney Resort – July 2019

    It’s July, and summer has come to Tokyo Disney Resort! That means lots of new merchandise, food, decorations and two huge events. At Tokyo Disneyland, the brand new Donald’s Hot Jungle Summer is underway, while the fantastic Disney Pirates Summer returns to Tokyo DisneySea. The Duffy’s Sunny Fun and Funtime with Toy Story 4 continue too. The biggest closures are Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek! and Splash Mountain in Tokyo Disneyland.     Shanghai Disneyland Splashing Summer – 2018 Details

    Shanghai Disneyland’s “Splashing Summer” will keep guests cool this summer with plenty of water-filled entertainment, including the Summer Blast castle show, Duffy Pre-Parade, and a new interactive Toy Story show. The event runs June 16 – September 2, 2018, and includes a huge range of new snack, refreshing drinks, meals, and merchandise. Check out all the details below.

    Huge Star Wars Float to Appear at Festival in Fukuoka

    If you read our recent Overview of Star Wars Events & Festivals in Japan, then you know that over the last couple years, Star Wars has been doing some interesting local tourism promotions in Japan. 2017 already saw one such promotion take place when a massive Star Wars snow sculpture helped draw visitors to the Sapporo Snow Festival back in February. As it turns out, this is not the only travel incentive that Japan has going this year to mark the 40th anniversary of the original Star Wars film’s release. (More about that in a minute.)
