Hey fellow Explorers. Today, I am sad to announce that our wait time app “TDR Now” on iOS and web app for Tokyo Disney Resort has gone offline for now.
Last week, it was brought to my attention that the iOS version was crashing and unable to load. After some investigation into the issue(s), I have decided to remove the app from the App Store and take the web app offline. It wasn’t an easy decision on my part because it’s a useful tool for Tokyo Disneyland and many Explorers use it. I have no timeline when or if it’ll come back online.
It comes down to limited resources. Instead of leaving the app in its broken state, I’ve decided it was best to take it offline. I am focusing on other exciting projects and you’ll hear about them soon.
Tokyo Disneyland Wait Time Apps
I recommend the app TDR Dash for iOS and Android which has current wait times for both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea and is in English. It’s simple and easy to use.
Tokyo Disney Resort does have an official mobile website (there is no official app) which offers wait times. There are a couple of downsides: it’s only in Japanese and only works if you’re inside the parks. Using Google Translate does help but isn’t perfect. But, if you prefer an official source then this is your only option.
