The Disney Ambassador Hotel has introduced a new Mickey Mouse guest room inspired by his iconic appearance in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice from 1940 classic, Fantasia. The Art Deco-inspired Tokyo Disney Resort hotel celebrated its 25th anniversary on July 7, 2025.
The Sorcerer Mickey-themed guest room is filled with magical touches inspired by Fantasia. The walls feature a mural of Mickey Mouse conducting music just as he does in the film, while both the headboards, carpet and lampshades are decorated with motifs from “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”
The ceiling of the room features a whimsical night sky design.Among the constellations are iconic shapes from Fantasia, including Sorcerer Mickey’s wizard hat, a classic Mickey head silhouette, and an enchanted broom.
Guests staying in the room will receive an original pouch to take home as a memento of your stay.
Starting November 1st, Disney Ambassador Hotel’s Hyperion Lounge will be serving desserts and drinks inspired by The Sorcerers Apprentice, including a chocolate and earl grey cake resembling Mickey’s iconic sorcerer’s hat, and a non-alcoholic cocktail inspired by the magical night sky.
A lime-flavoured white chocolate mouse and blue jelly dessert will also be available for take out starting October 13th.
Reservation Information
Reservations for the “Mickey Mouse Room (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice)” are available through the Tokyo Disney Resort online reservation and purchase site.
- For stays from Monday, October 13, 2025, onward, reservations can be made starting at 11:00 a.m. on the same day, four months prior to your intended stay.
- If no date falls exactly four months ahead of your desired stay, reservations will open at 11:00 a.m. on the first day of the following month. *Please note that these dates are subject to change.
Of the 55 Mickey Mouse Room rooms, three are designated as Accessible Rooms, designed for easy access for guests using wheelchairs. The room is equipped with a “trundle bed” that can be pulled out and used freely, and can accommodate up to three people for the same price.
