The Disney Parks Blog has shared an updated look at the construction of the upcoming Arendelle: The World of Frozen expansion which is set open at Hong Kong Disneyland in the second half of 2023. When the land debuts, it will be the world’s first Frozen-themed land and is the park’s largest expansion to date.

The Disney Parks Blog has shared a land animatic of Arendelle: The World of Frozen, which features a fly-through of the land, highlighting the town square of the land, Frozen Ever After ride building and surrounding areas.
In the newly released drone video of the construction site, you can see the recreation of the kingdom of Arendelle drawing upon the natural landscape of Lantau Mountain behind Hong Kong Disneyland as a backdrop. The construction video gives us a glimpse at the clock tower, Elsa’s Ice Palace sitting atop the North Mountain and Arendelle Castle.
Disney Parks Blog also provided an official video of the new updated Elsa audio-animatronic that will feature in the land’s Frozen Ever After attraction. While the audio-animatronics at EPCOT’s version of the attraction feature projected faces, Hong Kong Disneyland’s version will feature impressive fully realised characters, with physical facial features.
“In this time of happily-ever-after, peace and prosperity have returned to the kingdom of Arendelle, guests are invited from near and far to take part in this joyous celebration on Summer Snow Day,” said Michel Den Dulk, Executive Creative Director for Walt Disney Imagineering.
