It’s nearly Halloween time at Tokyo Disney Resort! In addition to the merchandise on offer, guests at the park can also pick up some limited-time Halloween-themed omiyage to gift to friends and family.
Omiyage (お土産) translates as “souvenir”, however, they are not souvenirs you buy for yourself; instead, they are gifts to bring back to family, friends, classmates, co-workers etc., as small gifts. Typically, omiyage are sweets like cookies, tiny cakes and candy. However, they can also include rice crackers and alcohol. Omiyage are usually themed to specific regions of Japan and feature decorative packaging.
