Each year Tokyo Disney Resort celebrates the New Year with a line of merchandise themed to the Chinese Zodiac. As 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, this year’s collection features famous Disney rabbits including Thumper from Bambi, White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and Judy Hopps from Zootopia.
The collection features items inspired by Darumas which are considered a symbol of good luck and perseverance. Traditionally the eyes are blank, allowing you to fill in the left eye when you set yourself a goal, and once you achieve the goal, you fill in the right eye. While these Darumas don’t come with blank eyes but they still make for a great gift.
The New Year’s 2023 Merchandise collection is available at both Disneyland and DisneySea, Bon Voyage, and Resort Hotels until January 15, 2023.
