Tokyo Disney Resort Selling Merchandise Online Starting May 26 for Limited Time

Update: Merchandise has sold out on the first day. However, items should be back in stock every day.

Tokyo Disney Resort has been closed since February 29, 2020, due to coronavirus concerns. It’s not yet known when Tokyo Disney Resort will reopen, but since Japan is lifting its State of Emergency. It could be in the near future.

One of the biggest questions has been “What about the merchandise!?”

Tokyo Disney Resort Sells Merchandise Online

Tokyo Disney Resort has been reluctant to sell its merchandise online. Only in the last few years has the resort begun offering online purchases through their official app. The catch is you had to have visited the park on that day (with a valid day ticket or annual passport) and buy your items before 23:00 that day. Also shipping is only within Japan.

Since the Parks have been closed, there has been no way to get your Tokyo Disney merchandise fix. The Resort announced today they’ll be selling merchandise through the official Tokyo Disney Resort app starting May 26, 2020, for a limited time (until the Parks reopening dates are announced). 

• Ordering is only through the official Tokyo Disney Resort app
• Shipping is only to addresses within Japan
• You must have a Tokyo Disney Resort account (Japanese)
• No park ticket is required
• Pixar Playtime, Very Very Minnie, and Duffy goods aren’t available
• A limit of 3 items per person
• The online store is only open between 09:00 and 19:00

Now before you get too excited, there is no international shipping available. Shipping is only available within Japan. Even though the app was recently released in English. If you live within Japan then this is a non-issue.

Maybe in the future, we’ll see them ship internationally? But for now, you’ll have to sweet talk friends who live in Japan to get these items for you. Or watch the endless merchandise videos we have below.
