Starting March 13th, 2023, Tokyo Disney Resort will no longer require its guests to wear face masks while inside the park. The decision is in response to the Japanese government’s revised stance on mask-wearing, which now emphasizes individual discretion.
Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that guests are now free to decide whether to wear masks or not however, the resort maintains the right to request mask-wearing in certain situations. Additionally, guests are expected to adhere to cast member instructions regarding photography during character greetings, regardless of whether the interaction is held indoors or outdoors.
