Tokyo Disney Resort Christmas 2015 (Archive)
Christmas has officially kicked off at Tokyo Disney Resort for 2015! TDRExplorer frolicked (we cannot confirm nor deny this) through both parks to experience what Christmas has to offer this festive season.
Christmas Wishes and Christmas Fantasy are happening at Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland respectively from November 9th until December 25th, 2015. To see everything happening for Christmas this year, read our full guide!
Let’s recap what we experienced at both parks during the first day of Christmas!
Christmas Wishes at Tokyo DisneySea
Yes, we waited over 2 hours to watch the first showing of “Perfect Christmas” and it was well worth the wait. (I won’t mention the fact that we even waited to watch the second showing. Don’t worry, we ate some food while we waited!)
Perfect Christmas at Tokyo DisneySea! Such a beautiful show. #TDR_now

Decorations at the entrance to the park have beautifully designed banners. They really should consider selling these as decorations. I would buy them in a heartbeat.

Christmas Fantasy at Tokyo Disneyland
The theme this year is “Storybook” and they certainly took it seriously. The front entrance has a huge storybook with your favourite Disney Characters including two larger than life displays featuring Lilo and Stitch and Beauty and the Beast. Don’t take our word for it, check it out yourself.
Why, hello there Tokyo Disneyland! Don’t you look lovely. #TDR_now pic.twitter.com/5pCuYl2Gux — TDR Explorer (@tdrexplorer) November 9, 2015

We also found the Tokyo Disneyland cats, which is always a treat.

Disney Christmas Stories is the brand new daytime parade. Keeping to the theme of a “storybook,” the floats are adorable and the costumes for the dancers and characters are top notch (although a few of the costumes are rehashed from previous Christmas shows). This parade will stick around for a few more years, so thankfully it is one worthy of our approval.
Beautiful “Storybook” displays at Tokyo Disneyland for Christmas. Loving the theme this year. #TDR_now

No trip to the park is complete without eating deliciously festive food either.
Now for an Olaf strawberry Cookie. As you can see, the inside of his head is quite tasty.
