Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that the classic “Big Band Beat: A Special Treat” show will take its final bow at Tokyo DisneySea on September 30, 2025. The Broadway Music Theatre in the American Waterfront is set to debut a new, yet-to-be-announced entertainment program.
Originally debuting for Tokyo DisneySea’s fifth anniversary in July 2006, this energetic swing jazz revue was beloved for featuring Mickey Mouse’s impressive drumming skills. After reopening in 2021 following pandemic-related closures, the show was retitled “Big Band Beat: A Special Treat” and presented in a modified, scaled-down format.
Decorations
Starting July 1, the area around Broadway Music Theatre and American Waterfront will be decorated with designs inspired by the big band show to commemorate its run.
Merchandise
Tokyo Disney Resort will release limited-time merchandise inspired by the long-loved “Big Band Beat” show. The lineup includes goods featuring jazz motifs including drums and records.
Sales will begin on Tuesday, July 1, 2025(some products will go on sale on Friday, August 1, 2025.)
Special Menu
Limited-time food and drink will be available at Tokyo DisneySea during the campaign period. New York Deli on the American waterfront will offer a Coca-Cola & Apple sparkling drink with popping candy.
Gummy candy in a mini snack case recreating the iconic image of Mickey playing the drums in the show. The collectable comes with a strap and charm featuring the Big Band Beat logo.
The Empire Grill and Hyperion Lounge at the Disney Ambassador Hotel will also offer a “We Love Big Band Beat” course meal, special drinks and a premium dessert set.
Disney Resort Line
The Disney Resort Line will begin selling tickets with a “We Love Big Band Beat” design. The commemorative tickets will be available from August 1 through September 30th, until supply lasts.
