Tokyo Disneyland 38th Anniversary Merchandise

Happy 38th anniversary to Tokyo Disney Resort! The resort officially opened back on April 15, 1983, and today it turns 38 years young! In typical Tokyo Disney style, there’s brand new merchandise to celebrate.

For 2021, the theme this year is of the “Kingdom Treasures” shop in Fantasyland behind Cinderella Castle. For each anniversary there’s always a theme to the merchandise. It comes at no surprise that it’s all quite cute.

Let’s take a look what’s available!

Tokyo Disneyland 38th Anniversary Merchandise

You’re able to find these items inside Tokyo Disneyland (not Tokyo DisneySea) and Bon Voyage (just outside the Park). Unfortunately, for Bon Voyage from April 15 through April 19, you’ll need a reservation to get into the shop (it’s only in Japanese).

Pro tip: Convert Japanese Yen prices into US dollars by dropping the last two digits in the price in yen. That’s roughly how much it is in US dollars (give or take a few dollars). Example: ¥2,000 (or sometimes written 2,000円) is about US$20.

If you’re looking to buy anything online, check out our merchandise guide on how to buy items from outside Japan.

What items are your favourite? Let me know in the comments! There’s also a watch, but I forgot to take a photo of it since I didn’t see it, oops. You can check out the list of items on the official website too.
