Preview: Merchandise Coming to Tokyo Disneyland’s Huge Expansion
Note: The opening of the new expansion is delayed until further notice.
The huge selection will be inspired by the four new attractions coming to the park; Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, Mickey’s Magical Music World show, Minnie’s Style Studio, and Happy Ride with Baymax.
There will be an enchanting Beauty and the Beast range, seasonal Minnie’s Style Studio plush badges, and commemorative merchandise with references to all the new attractions.
Speaking of new shops! Tokyo Disney Resort has also released new information about the Beauty and the Beast shops coming to Belle’s village area. Check out the concept art below.
Village Shoppes
Guests will enter the Fantasyland expansion through Belle’s village, which will have three shops inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
La Belle Librairie is based on Belle’s favourite bookstore and even has the rolling ladder from the film’s opening number.
Little Town Traders will be decorated with hand-made toys, candlesticks and dish-ware. The shop is shown in the concept area above, which has souvenirs based on fan-favourite characters.
Bonjour Gifts will be themed as a tailor and hat-maker’s shop with dresses and tools decorations.
The village will also have La Taverne de Gaston, a counter-service restaurant serving up plenty of hearty meals and snacks. Check out the details here.
Beauty and the Beast Merchandise
The Village Shoppes will sell over 100 different types of merchandise such as mugs, dishes, glasses stands, and even a Gaston cushion!
