Tokyo Disneyland & Tokyo DisneySea Christmas 2016 Details
Christmas returns to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea starting November 8, and runs until December 25, 2016. Guests can experience decorations, entertainment, costume days, and limited time merchandise & food options. Here are the highlights of Christmas at Tokyo Disney Resort for 2016! Tokyo Disneyland
Christmas Fantasy returns to Tokyo Disneyland with its “pop-up storybook” theme. Decorations include oversized storybook in the Plaza in front of Cinderella Castle and the main entrance. A new photo place in Fantasyland allows guests to take photos “inside” a storybook. Each land receives a Christmas trees this year to display. The daytime parade “Disney Christmas Stories” returns along the parade route. In addition, the park offers limited merchandise and food.

friends - Lilo, Stitch, Angel: Stitch and friends getting ready for Christmas in tropical Hawaii
- Belle, Beast: Belle and the Beast’s romantic Christmas
- Anna, Elsa, Olaf: Anna and Elsa’s Wintry World of Ice
Special Christmas versions of the atmosphere shows are presented along with special versions of:
- Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights
- Super-Duper Jumpin’ Time
- Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare” (September 3, 2016, to January 4, 2017)
- Country Bear Theater “Jingle Bell Jamboree” (November 7 to December 28, 2016)
Disney Characters wearing Christmas attire appear in Toontown and other areas of the park.
Tokyo DisneySea
Christmas Wishes makes a return to Tokyo DisneySea as part of the parks 15th Anniversary Celebration. Decorations are strung about the American Waterfront and Lost River Delta. Along with Christmas entertainment, food, and merchandise.

To coincide with the 15th Anniversary a special Christmas version of the theme song is featured during the show. Mickey and Friends decorate a Christmas tree with their special crystals.

- Location: Mediterranean Harbor
- Duration: ~3 minutes
- Performances: Every 15 minutes after the fireworks
A Perfect Christmas
- Location: Mediterranean Harbor
- Duration: ~25 minutes
- Performances: 2 Daily (Daytime)

Duffy, ShellieMay, and Ariel greet guests in their Meet N Greet locations wearing their Christmas best!
Limited Christmas Merchandise
Both Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland offer over 45 types of merchandise themed to Christmas, Snowmen, and Santa Claus. Duffy and friends also receive their own special merchandise. Items are on sale starting November 1, 2016, while Duffy merchandise starts November 2.
Special Menu
Starting November 1, 2016, Christmas sets are available at Miguel’s el Dorado Cantina, Yucatan Base Camp Grill, S.S. Columbia Dining Room, and Magellan’s in Tokyo DisneySea. Over in Tokyo Disneyland, the Eastside Café, Plaza Pavilion, and Captain Hook’s Galley offer special Christmas sets.
A hot, sweet, and tart apple beverage is available at both parks with a souvenir cup. A Mr. Potato Head dressed as Santa Claus Popcorn bucket and Christmas Reindeer Green Alien Dumpling case are also offered.
Disney Hotels
From November 8 through December 25, 2016, all three Disney Hotels are decorated for the holidays. The Disney Ambassador Hotel offers guests the option of selecting a Christmas themed room during their stay. A new Christmas Tree made from movie reels illuminates the Disney Ambassador Hotel’s lobby. Restaurants at the hotels serve delicious holiday-inspired dishes, including a special menu only offered from December 20 through December 25, 2016.
Disney Resort Line
From November 8 through December 25, 2016, the Disney Resort line is decorated for the holidays at its station. Also offering two designs for their monorail passes. Collect three passes and exchange them for a limited monorail pin.
Ikspiari
The shopping area at Tokyo Disney Resort offers their “Ikspiari Christmas Town” during the holiday event. Santa makes a special appearance in an all-white costume and is part of the live entertainment offered in the area. Restaurants also offer holiday-inspired food.
