Tokyo DisneySea 20th Anniversary Crystal Sphere Re-Release • TDR Explorer

Merchandise is big business at Tokyo Disney Resort. The 20th Anniversary of DisneySea saw the release of an extensive array of limited-edition collectables, including the much sought-after DisneySea ‘Crystal Sphere’ collection. Fans who missed out on the item at the initial release have a new opportunity to get their hands on THE must-have park collectable.

Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that the Crystal Sphere collection will go back on sale at 1 pm, March 7, 2022, at Galleria Disney and Il Postino Stationery at DisneySea and on the Tokyo Disney Resort App while within the park.

Update 31 March 2022: Tokyo Disney Resort has announced the release of the “Crystal Sphere Luminous Sun Tokyo DisneySea 20th Anniversary Grand Finale Set”, which will be available for pre-order from June 1, 2022 (Wednesday) to June 12, 2022 (Sunday).

The Crystal Sphere collection features Mickey Mouse in the costumes he appeared in during previous anniversary celebrations, including the Grand Opening, 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th anniversaries.

The series consists of interchangeable individual pieces, which, when combined, create the ultimate DisneySea keepsake. Guests can combine their favourite parts with several customizable options to make their original items. Individual pieces for sale include; base, crystal parts, ear parts, charms, chain, alphabet parts and cradle. The Crystal Spere can be displayed in a decorative cradle or attached to a chain.

Guests wishing to purchase the collection will need a standby pass to enter the store. Purchase restrictions apply, with each person buying one of the individual pieces, with no purchase limits on alphabet parts.

Tokyo Disney Resort has noticed how in-demand the item is and has assured that although the March 7th stock may quickly go out of stock, they plan on selling the item again, with details for future sales to be announced.
