“Totally Minnie Mouse” Event Coming to Tokyo Disney Resort in 2022

Tokyo Disney Resort has announced a special Minnie Mouse themed event – the first special event at the resort in nearly two years. The event features limited time entertainment, merchandise, and special menu items. “Totally Minnie Mouse” takes place resort wide from January 18th to March 30th, 2022.

The event will feature limited-time entertainment at both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea with “Minnie & Friends Greeting Parade: Totally Minnie Mouse”. Both park’s entertainment offerings feature recognisable music and Minnie Mouse costumes that were previously featured in past special events and stage shows, highlighting her ever growing wardrobe.

Tokyo Disneyland

25 minute parade along the parade route, once or twice daily (see schedule below)

January 18 ~ February 13, 2022: Minnie, Oh! Minnie
February 14 ~ March 1, 2022: Disney Princess Days
March 2 ~ March 30, 2022: Disney Natsu Matsuri

Tokyo DisneySea

10 minute harbor greeting on the Mediterranean Harbor, twice daily (see schedule below)

Special Food Menu

It isn’t a special event without special food! A large number of “Totally Minnie Mouse” special menu items including meals, special desserts and drinks will be found across the theme parks and the official Disney Resort hotels (see below!) A limited number of items will be available at Tokyo Disneyland from 26 December 2021, with most going on sale resort wide from 17 January 2022.

Merchandise

A large “Totally Minnie Mouse” merchandise range will be available from 17 January 2021. The range includes plush badges of Minnie in iconic looks from the years, a collection of portrait style Minnie Mouse photos, and even Minnie themed curtains! A ‘Minnie and Sakura’ themed collection will be released on 3 February featuring Minnie surrounded by pink sakura blossoms.

In addition to merchandise, guests can collect a Totally Minnie Mouse themed Disney Resort Line ticket from the automatic ticket vending machines at each monorail station.

Pro tip: Convert Japanese Yen prices into US dollars by dropping the last two digits in the price in yen. Example: ¥2,000 (or sometimes written 2,000円) is about US$20. That’s roughly how much it is in US dollars (give or take a few dollars).

Hotels

The restaurants at Disney Ambassador Hotel and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will be offering a large array of special menus with various dishes and special drinks themed to Minnie Mouse. Special Menus will be available from 1 February 2022.
