Toy Story Hotel Construction Update (Spring 2021) at Tokyo Disney Resort
Yesterday, we learned the name of the brand new Toy Story Hotel. Wait for it. Yes, the “Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel.” Not exactly earth shattering but at least there’s no guess as to what it is right?
Anyway, naming aside, this new moderate hotel is opening sometime in fiscal 2021. The Toy Story Hotel is right beside the Hilton Tokyo Bay Hotel at Bayside Station. This is the same area where the new Fantasy Springs expansion at Tokyo DisneySea is going too!
I took a stroll today and snapped some photos for you all to see the progress.
Toy Story Hotel Construction Update (Spring 2021)
Here’s a look at the construction so far with the Toy Story Hotel. The parking structure is in the front (which is typical for the hotels in this area) and the hotel in the back.
On a side note, I’ve begun trying out WordPress Stories to share photos and videos shared on Instagram. This way the stories live permanently on our site instead of disappearing after 24 hours on Instagram. If you like this idea, let me know in the comments!
Quick look at the Toy Story Hotel Construction
Now here are closer photos that weren’t taken with my phone.
Front of the hotel from the monorail station Parking structure Parking structure A bit closer to the hotel The backside of the parking structure The backside of the hotel from Tokyo Bay Close up of the facade A closer look at the backside Directly behind the hotel More angles! More! Moooorreeee! What did I say? MORE ANGLES! Ahhh, yes, thank you. I dunno more of the front of the hotel A poor shot of the parking structure A rocket on a pillar along the road to the parking structure A better look at the parking structure from the monorail You can see where it says “RC RACER GARAGE”
You can check out the progress of the construction by looking at our previous photos from earlier in the year!
More Things to Do in Tokyo
My recommendations for things to do in and around Tokyo! Plan a day at the Hello Kitty theme park, Sanrio Puroland, and an afternoon at the popular TeamLab Planets TOKYO. Take a tour around Tokyo with the convenient hop-on and-off bus. Spend a rainy afternoon inside Japan’s largest indoor theme park, Tokyo Joyoplis, near Tokyo Disney!

I was expecting something different from the “A closer look at the backside” photo, but still enjoyed the post. Thanks!
I don’t do Instagram and would really like to see more updates like this on your website and Facebook! 🙂 Thanks for your continuing great work.
I am a non Instagram person like Richard, so I agree with him! That said, I think the insta updates might add to your audience, so you probably should do that too!

love the photos – but it’s boring looking – so much more could have been done with color and I’m not understanding the car park being in front of the hotel
The parking lot at the front is how the other hotels do it due to space, so that’s expected.
