Toy Story Hotel Construction Update at Tokyo Disneyland (Fall 2020)
Tokyo Disney Resort is getting not one but two new hotels. In addition to the ultra-luxurious hotel that’s part of the Fantasy Springs expansion for Tokyo DisneySea, there’s the Toy Story Hotel (opening fiscal 2021).
Not much is known about the Toy Story Hotel other than it’s sandwiched between the Hilton Tokyo Bay and Sheraton Tokyo Bay hotels. After months of nothing but grey steel, we’re seeing colourful exterior coming to life!

It’s hard to miss the Toy Story Hotel as you’ll see it while onboard the Tokyo Disney Resort monorail line. Let’s take a look at what we’re able to see so far.

The Toy Story Hotel is a value hotel that is set to open sometime in fiscal 2021. Let’s not forget about the Tokyo Disneyland Expansion, which still doesn’t have a known opening date.

More Things to Do in Tokyo
My recommendations for things to do in and around Tokyo! Plan a day at the Hello Kitty theme park, Sanrio Puroland, and an afternoon at the popular TeamLab Planets TOKYO. Take a tour around Tokyo with the convenient hop-on and-off bus. Spend a rainy afternoon inside Japan’s largest indoor theme park, Tokyo Joyoplis, near Tokyo Disney!

Wow, it’s amazing how far along it is! They were still prepping the site and removing earth the last time we were there.
Of course, the big question is… with the elevators be as much fun as the hotel in Shanghai? We rode both groups of lifts just to record the floor announcements. I can still crack my friend up by going “The loooobbbbbbyyyy” in a bad Little Green Men imitation. 🙂

[…] Toy Story Hotel Construction Update Fall 2020 […]
So excited about the Toy Story Hotel… do you have any updates? I haven’t seen much on the hotel. Do you think it will be open by summer 2021? Or will it be later… Looking to visit Tokyo Disney this summer and would love to stay at the hotel.
