Universal Studios Beijing Closed in Response to Coronavirus Cases • TDR Explorer

Update: Universal Studios Beijing reopened on October 31, 2022.

Universal Beijing Resort is temporarily closed in line with China’s strict Zero-COVID protocols. The snap lockdown is in response to 20 Covid-19 cases reported in Beijing on Tuesday. The closure affects Universal Studios Beijing, hotels and shopping districts, and CityWalk.

A reopening date is unknown, with a representative for the resort noting that they will continue to assess the impact on operations and try their best to resume operations as soon as possible.

Guests with Universal Studios Beijing 1-Day Dated Ticket, and 1.5-Day Dated Ticket on October 26^th to 28^th, 2022, will be fully refunded. Guests with Universal Studios Beijing 1-Day Dated Ticket, 1.5-Day Dated Ticket with visitation date after October28^th, 2022, are to refer to Universal Beijing Resort’s existing refund policies.
