Universal Studios Japan is honouring one of cinema’s most iconic thrillers with a limited-time event, “Jaws Celebration”, marking the 50th anniversary of the Japanese release of Jaws. Amity Village will be transformed into a festive seaside hub filled with new food and experiences inspired by Steven Spielberg’s 1975 classic. The event will run from November 19, 2025, to January 4, 2026.
Visitors can look forward to a giant Christmas wreath on the famous Hanging Shark, limited-edition photo templates at Jaws Photo, and special anniversary stickers available throughout the area. Even the Jaws attraction itself is getting into the spirit, opening each voyage with a special commemorative announcement to mark the film’s milestone.
As part of the celebration, Amity Landing Restaurant has undergone a complete menu makeover, offering hearty burrito sets inspired by the seaside setting of Jaws.
New dishes include the Spicy Shrimp Burrito Set, featuring fried soft-shell crab inspired by crabs along the beach, along with Chicken & Avocado, BBQ Pork, and Chili Con Carne Bean burritos. Each meal will be served in exclusive anniversary packaging, available starting November 18, 2025.

Universal Studios Japan has affordable accommodations that are steps away from the park and have easy access to Osaka. I recommend checking prices through Booking.com followed by the hotels directly. - The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan – You’re directly in front of the Park gates and have instant access to Universal CityWalk Osaka. The rooms are gorgeous, with restaurants and even a Lawson (Japanese convenience store).
