Universal Studios Japan is celebrating Easter with festive activities, decorations, food and merchandise from March 15 – June 23, 2019.
For the first time, the Minions will celebrate Easter along with Snoopy, Hello Kitty and Elmo. There’s even a new Easter-themed Minion popcorn bucket. See all the details below.

Easter Greetings and Entertainment
The Minions will appear in special Easter outfits in Minion Park to greet guests and pose for photos.
Over in Universal Wonderland, guests can dance along to Wonderland Season’s Joy – Easter Version. The show features Elmo, Snoopy and Hello Kitty in Easter costumes leading a dance party and interacting with young guests.
The most colourful areas or Universal Studios Japan are set for a bright and cheerful Easter makeover.
Universal Wonderland will have spring flower displays and Easter egg decorations. While, in Minion Park, the decorations will have all the traditional elements; Easter bunnies, eggs, and bananas!
Easter Egg Hunt
Both Universal Wonderland and Minion Park will host a special Easter Egg Hunt for families. In each area, guests can purchase an egg-shaped brochure which gives hints on where to find hidden eggs. Find all the eggs, and you receive an Easter rosette.
It is not confirmed whether the Easter Egg Hunt will be available in English, or how much the experience will cost.
Universal Studios Japan has plenty of cute character merchandise, and this Easter there are new Snoopy, Hello Kitty, Elmo and Moppy plush toys.
Food and Drinks
Special Easter food will be available in Universal Wonderland, Minion Park, and the Beverly Hills Boulangerie.
