Get ready to get soaked—Universal Studios Japan is turning up the heat with its annual summer event, “NO LIMIT! Cool Summer,” for a limited time in 2025. Designed to beat the heat, this high-energy, splash-filled celebration will feature a variety of seasonal entertainment and water-soaked fun across the park to keep guests refreshed and thrilled throughout the hot Japanese summer months.
NO LIMIT! Cool Summer will be offered at Universal Studios Japan from July 1 to August 31, 2025.
The NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade
Universal Studio Japan’s Summer Splash water parade will return for the 2025 season.The splash-tastic summer parade invites guests to dance to tropical dance music, shoot water shooters, and get drenched throughout the park to beat the heat. The parade will feature a number of dynamic floats that shoot water while making their way down the parade route.
This summer, My Melody and Kuromi will appear together for the first time on the Sanrio Friends float—celebrating My Melody’s 50th anniversary and Kuromi’s 20th! The 40-minute parade, presented once daily, showcases seven colorful floats featuring Hello Kitty, Peanuts, Minions, Sesame Street, SING, Mario, and Pokémon.
New for this year is an interactive segment where guests can use water shooters to aim at targets and collect coins along the route. *Start times vary depending on the season. Please check USJ’s official

NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade 360° soaking wet!
Wanting to get EXTRA SOAKED?! Check out the NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade 360° soaking wet experience! A special area will be set up in Gramercy Park (New York area) where guests will be surrounded by all the characters appearing in the 360-degree parade and get even more wet!
NO LIMIT! Summer Splash Parade 360° soaking wet! is a ticketed experience. Tickets go on sale from May 10, 2024, with tickets priced at ¥2,100. Tickets will go on sale midday April 25, 2025.
Mega Cool Zone
This year, guests can beat the heat like never before! The water shooting area has been expanded and decked out with themed decorations. Plus, a giant mist zone has been added—perfect for adults looking to refresh and recharge. Additionally, six water refill spots are set up across the park.
No summer splash is complete without the official Water Shooter—a must for guests who want to fully join in the action! These water shooters will be available at locations like the Universal Studios Store starting around July 2025.

Getting around Japan by the world-renowned bullet train, known as the Shinkansen, is incredibly fast, reliable, and affordable for visitors. You can travel from Tokyo to Osaka in just over 2 hours. Get the JR Rail Pass to save a ton of money on the bullet train for your trip.
Book Your Hotel
Universal Studios Japan has affordable accommodations that are steps away from the park and have easy access to Osaka. I recommend checking prices through Booking.com followed by the hotels directly. Sometimes, you’re able to score some incredible deals. Here’s a short list of hotels at Universal Studios Japan I recommend.
- The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan – You’re directly in front of the Park gates and have instant access to Universal CityWalk Osaka. The rooms are gorgeous, with restaurants and even a Lawson (Japanese convenience store).
- The Singulari HOTEL & SKYSPA – Attached to the train station is a fantastic hotel for those who want a comfortable, clean, and stylish place to sleep. After a long day at Universal Studios Japan, the rooftop sento (public bath) is excellent for unwinding and relaxing.
