Universal Studios Japan is getting even more terrifying this Halloween, with a new lineup of food, drinks and merchandise coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026.
This year’s event celebrates the 15th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights, with new ways to experience the horror through themed food and drinks, exclusive merchandise, and collaborations with popular franchises including Resident Evil and Chainsaw Man.
A Zombie Bar Is Coming to Universal Studios Japan
One of the biggest new additions is the park’s first-ever Zombie Bar, where zombified crew members will serve drinks inspired by zombies from Halloween Horror Nights history.
Located at Wharf Cafe in the San Francisco area, the Zombie Bar will open from 6:00 PM, allowing guests to grab a drink as the sun goes down and the park’s zombies take over. Both alcoholic cocktails and non-alcoholic options will be available.
The lineup includes Cute Zombie’s Sweet Temptation ~Strawberry Milk~, The Madness of Circus Zombies ~Lychee Non-Alcoholic Sour~, and Chainsaw Zombie Rampage ~Blood Orange & Lemon Sour~. The strawberry milk drink will be available from September 9, while the other two drinks begin sales from September 11 at 6:00 PM.
High School Zombies Get Their Own Food Festival
The high school zombies appearing in the special shows “Halloween Horror Night Academy ~15 Years of Screams~” and “Street Zombies” are also inspiring a new selection of food. Universal Market will transform into a zombie school festival, with food based on the different clubs and personalities of the undead students.
The lineup includes the #DecoWinner Zombie Cheerleaders’ Cassis Waffle, combining a sweet and sour cassis flavour with a retro-pop appearance.
The Burst! Zombie Science Club’s Experimental Takoyaki ~Served with UMAMI Garlic Oil~ plays into the club’s bizarre experiments, while the Muscle Rampage! Zombie American Football Team’s Cheese & Beef Short Rib Rice Dog is a hearty hot dog filled with kalbi rice, crispy onions and melted cheese.
There’s also Zombie Banana Ice Cream ~Does a Banana Count as a Snack?~, inspired by a student’s very important question about whether bananas count as a snack. This item will be available from 6:00 PM during Halloween Horror Nights.
Halloween Horror Nights 15th Anniversary Coasters
Two new food sets will also celebrate the 15th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights with exclusive coaster designs.
At Mel’s Drive-In, guests can order the Warning! Macaroni and Cheeseburger Horror Night 15th Anniversary Coaster Set, while Louise’s NY Pizza Parlor will offer the Caution! Cajun Chicken Pizza Horror Night 15th Anniversary Coaster Set.

Each set comes with one coaster selected at random, featuring artwork from past Zombie de Dance events and popular zombies from Halloween Horror Nights history.
Resident Evil Food Comes to the Park
Universal Studios Japan is also adding new food inspired by Resident Evil Requiem, which marks the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. The new menu includes the Green Herb Recovery Croissant Dog ~Basil Sauce & Chicken~, a one-handed snack inspired by the game’s iconic Green Herb.

There’s also Leon S. Kennedy’s Bitter Chocolate Churros, featuring cocoa nibs and cocoa powder for a rich, bitter flavour inspired by the battle-hardened character. The churros are finished with the DSO logo.
Both items will be available from September 9 at the food cart in front of Space Fantasy The Ride.
Chainsaw Man Food and Merchandise
The Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4-D collaboration is also getting new food and merchandise. Guests can try the Chainsaw Man ~Keema Curry~, a bun inspired by Denji’s transformed appearance, along with Pochita’s Frozen Parfait ~Orange & Vanilla~, which features Pochita peeking out of the cup.
Both food items will be sold from September 9 at the food cart in front of Cinema 4-D.
New merchandise includes a T-shirt featuring Chainsaw Man battling the Halloween Horror Night Demon and a Pochita plush keychain dressed as a mummy. The merchandise will be available at the Cinema 4-D Store from September 9.

Universal Studios Japan has affordable accommodations that are steps away from the park and have easy access to Osaka. I recommend checking prices through Booking.com followed by the hotels directly. Sometimes, you’re able to score some incredible deals. Here’s a short list of hotels at Universal Studios Japan I recommend.
- The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan – You’re directly in front of the Park gates and have instant access to Universal CityWalk Osaka. The rooms are gorgeous, with restaurants and even a Lawson (Japanese convenience store).
