Universal Studios Japan Summer Merchandise, Entertainment, & Snacks

Universal Studios Japan has announced a new parade will be held from July 23 to August 27, 2020, called “Summer Parade – We Are One”. In past summer parades, many water effects were used, but these won’t be used this year in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition, the parade will not be making any stops so that guests won’t crowd around the parade route.

Along with the parade, there will be new food and merchandise on sale throughout the park.

This year’s summer parade will feature floats used in past summer and Halloween parades. The big difference is that this year, no water effects will be used, and the parade will also not be making many stops along the parade route.

The parade will include popular characters from the Peanuts, Hello Kitty, Minions, and Sesame Street all dressed in colorful summer costumes. There will also be plenty of dancers, singers, and flag twirlers in the parade.

The parade will start near the Terminator 2: 3D attraction and finish near the Spider-Man ride. The parade runs daily at 11:00 AM and lasts about 40 minutes. Below is the parade route, with the parade starting from the left of the map and moving around the Hollywood and New York areas of the park.
