Toy Story Hotel Construction Quick Update

I took a spin on the Tokyo Disney Resort monorail today and took a quick video of the construction of the new Toy Story Hotel opening this year!
Baymax Photo Opt No Longer Needs “Entry Request”

The Baymax photo opt at Tokyo Disneyland “Happy Fair Lab” no longer needs the “Entry Request” starting today. Prior to today, if you wanted a photo with Baymax you had to do an “Entry Request” through the official Tokyo Disney Resort app. The “Entry Request” is essentially a lottery and you may or may not win, which means there’s a chance you wouldn’t be able to experience the meet and greet.
This is the same system used for the new Beauty and the Beast ride, The Happy Ride with Baymax, Minnie’s Style Studio, Big Band Beat, Mickey’s Magical Music World, and other attractions.
Disney Fan June 2021 Now Available!

The latest edition of the Disney Fan magazine is now available in stores across Japan! It comes with fun postcards and a look at the monorail decorations over the years. You can buy it outside Japan through Amazon Japan.
Mickey’s Magical Music World CD Coming Soon!

Mickey’s Magical Music World is the brand new stage show at Tokyo Disneyland in the Fantasyland Forest Theatre. On May 12, 2021, the music CD for the show is being released outside the Parks! You can buy it directly from Amazon Japan and they ship internationally! (Affiliate Link)
It’s currently available within Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
Tokyo Disney Resort Suspending Alcohol Sales Temporarily

Between April 28, 2021, through May 11, 2021, the Resort is suspending alcohol sales. This would be in response to the State of Emergency declared for Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo. Even though Tokyo Disney Resort isn’t located in Tokyo (it’s in Chiba prefecture), the resort is taking measures to help keep guests safe.
Tokyo DisneySea Testing Mobile Ordering

Tokyo DisneySea is testing mobile ordering through the Japanese version of the Tokyo Disney Resort App. It was being tested with the Casbah Food Court in the Arabian Coast. You can see a video on YouTube. It’s not known when the feature is coming out.

Tokyo Disneyland & DisneySea Hour Changes

Tokyo Disney Resort has announced they’re changing the Park hours for Tokyo DisneySea from closing at 21:00 to 20:00. Tokyo Disneyland park hours are staying the same.

Fairy Godmother Receives Character Face Update
