‘Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World’ Limited-Time Event at Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland has unveiled the third instalment of its “Disney Palpalooza” campaign: “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World,” inspired by Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph! Transforming Tokyo Disneyland into a candy world imagined by Vanellope, the special event follows the successful Minnie’s Funderland and Donald’s Quacky Duck City limited-time events presented throughout the year.

Featuring limited-time entertainment, merchandise and food and drink, Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World will take place at Tokyo Disneyland from January 15th to March 16th, 2025.

Decorations

Tokyo Disneyland will be transformed into a colourful Candyland as imagined by Vanellope for the limited-time event. Upon entering Tokyo Disneyland, guests will be greeted by the classic Mickey Mouse flowerbed featuring a candy theme, with pastel candy-themed banners welcoming guests.

Entertainment

A limited-time parade (name TBA) based on the concept of a “colourful resort made entirely of candy” as imagined by Vanellope will feature Vanellope, Mickey Mouse, and other Disney characters riding on floats that depict a resort made of cute and colourful sweets.

Mickey and Friends will sport brand-new sweets-inspired costumes during the parade. Mickey, who rides on a fruit tart-style live stage float, wears a strawberry-themed costume, while Minnie will ride on a float designed to resemble a gallery, and will be dressed as a guide.

Featuring 6 floats, the parade will be presented once per day along the parade route with show stops in Westernland, Fantasyland, in front of Cinderella Castle, and Tomorrowland/Toontown. We’ll be sure to keep you updated when more information becomes available!

Merchandise

Tokyo Disneyland will begin selling special merchandise inspired by the world of “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World” from Tuesday, January 14th. The limited-time collection will feature cute, pop-style wearable items, collectables and stationery inspired by sweets such as cookies and candy.
