World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland is set to welcome a new resident starting this May, with the debut of a new next-generation walk-around Olaf animatronic – the latest in Disney’s Living Character Initiative, designed to enhance the way guests interact with popular Disney characters.
Olaf will be found popping up spontaneously around Arendelle Forest in World of Frozen, ready to meet guests and, as always, make a few new friends along the way. The interactive experience lets guests spend time with Olaf like never before, sharing lighthearted moments, laughs, and photo opportunities.
The free-roaming Olaf animatronic was brought to life through the combined work of Walt Disney Imagineering Research and Development, Disney Live Entertainment, and Walt Disney Animation Studios. The figure made his debut at World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World in Paris in March 2026.
The Olaf fun doesn’t stop with character encounters. Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles will feature all-new
music boxes playing Olaf’s favorite tunes, along with HKDL-exclusive Olaf summer collections. Fans can look forward to collectible kitchen goods, collectibles and plush goods inspired by Olaf.
Over at Golden Crocus Inn, guests can enjoy an Olaf-inspired meal, featuring Olaf’s iconic carrot nose, while Northern Delights will offer new sweet treats inspired by everyone’s favourite curious snowman
