Your Guide to ‘Summer Cool Off’ 2026 at Tokyo Disney Resort

Things are heating up again at Tokyo Disney Resort with the return of its seasonal “Summer Cool Off” campaign, running from July 2 to September 14, 2026. This year’s program is packed with refreshed entertainment, returning soaking wet favourites, new music collaborations with Mrs. GREEN APPLE, plus seasonal food, merchandise, and hotel offerings designed for the peak of Japan’s summer heat.

Tokyo Disneyland Summer Offerings

During the event, guests will be able to enjoy limited-time offerings to help you keep cool in the summer heat. This year will see the return of the park’s popular ‘drenching program’, offering exciting opportunities to get soaking wet, alongside a the return of a special version of Baymax’s Happy Ride.

Baymax’s Happy Ride

Baymax’s Happy Ride returns with a limited-time music update featuring “Carrying Happiness (Tokyo Disney Resort Version)” by Mrs. GREEN APPLE. The song joins the regular soundtrack lineup and plays randomly during the attraction, with evening hours focusing exclusively on the collaboration music.

Big Hero 6 Mission Cool Down

Baymax’s Mission Cooldown also returns to the parade route, where Baymax monitors guests’ “energy levels” and responds with bursts of cooling mist. This year, the experience is tied even more closely to the Summer Cool Off music theme, also featuring Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s collaboration track.

Reach for the Stars: Everlasting Dreams (Special Version)

Reach for the Stars: Everlasting Dreams is entering its final seasonal run, with a limited-time post-show segment added after the main performance. The updated version continues its storytelling projection experience at Cinderella Castle while adding a special closing moment exclusive to this summer period.

Splash Mountain ‘More! Soaking wet MAX

Guests can enjoy a special version of Splash Mountain this summer. Splash Mountain ‘More! Soaking wet MAX promises to leave them completely soaked. While Tokyo Disneyland’s standard version is typically less wet than the former U.S. versions, this seasonal twist cranks up the splash factor!

Soaking Wet Spots

Over in Toontown, young guests can get drenched by the Jolly Trolley Garage, Toontown Fire Station, and the Fireworks Factory. “Soaked” Toontown features cool mist and water spouting like waterfalls.

Gadget’s Go Coaster returns in its “soaking wet” summer format. Expect sudden bursts of water along the track as the ride transforms into a fast, splash-heavy version designed to cool you down instantly.

A new soaking spot also appears in Adventureland, designed as a full drenching zone. Guests are advised to protect electronics and expect to get fully wet.

Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expedition

Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expedition adds a seasonal interactive twist, with captains sharing jungle insights and guests receiving special commemorative stickers after their journey.

Country Bear Theatre Vacation Jamboree

The fan-favorite summer edition of the classic Country Bear Jamboree is back! Country Bear Theatre: Vacation Jamboree, starring everyone’s favourite singing bears, will be offered from July 2 to October 3.

Tokyo DisneySea

Over at Tokyo DisneySea, guests can enjoy enjoy the summer version of a classic attraction, soak zones to keep you cool, plus brand-new limited time entertainment.

Aquatopia “Soaked” Version

Aquatopia returns in its unpredictable summer “soaked” format, where self-driving water vehicles send guests through unexpected splash zones. The attraction is set to close permanently on September 14th, so be sure to get in one last soak before the ride closes, making way for future expansion plans.

Soaking Wet Spots

Mediterranean Harbor transforms into a full-scale splash zone with the return of Soaked Harbor Splash. This year, the program is set to music from Mrs. GREEN APPLE, including the Summer Cool Off theme song “Carrying Happiness (Tokyo Disney Resort Version)”. Massive bursts of water shoot through the harbor during scheduled “Splash Time” moments throughout the day.

Additional wet areas appear around the harbor district and walkways, offering sudden bursts of water timed to upbeat music. Guests should expect unpredictable splash moments throughout the day.

Summer Food and Drink

Both parks will be selling menus perfect for enjoying during the hot Japanese summer. This year’s menu line-up focuses on refreshing chilled dishes, fruit-forward desserts, and easy-to-eat items for hot weather days. Highlights include cold udon with Baymax-themed toppings at Tokyo Disneyland, roast beef rice bowls, perfect for summer dining, and colourful shaved ice varieties across both parks.

Tokyo DisneySea restaurants also introduce new summer desserts including tiramisu-style granit, peach-lemon shaved ice combinations, and strawberry milk shaved ice and lassi-style desserts.

Limited-Time Merchandise

It’s not a special event without merchandise! A major highlight this year is the expanded collaboration with Mrs. GREEN APPLE, featuring music-themed Baymax merchandise and attraction-linked goods. Items include Light-up penlights that sync with Baymax’s Happy Ride, Neon-style Baymax accessories, and the Summer-themed “SuiSui Summer” beach collection featuring Mickey Mouse and friends

Hotel Offerings

Disney Hotels are also joining the seasonal celebration with themed dining and poolside activities.

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will introduce a summer rally program called “Summer Adventure!”, themed around exploration and puzzles inspired by Peter Pan’s Lost Kids. Guests can explore the hotel and pool area while completing challenges and collecting rewards.

Disney Ambassador Hotel hosts the Tropical Summer Festival, bringing summer-themed menus and a relaxed poolside atmosphere across its restaurants and outdoor pool – expect tropical inspired drinks and summer light eats! Please note that there is a fee to use the outdoor pool.

All restaurants including the the Palm Garden Pool (outdoor pool) will come together for a new seasonal event, the “Tropical Summer Festival”, celebrating the vibrant bounty of summer’s harvest. Guests can enjoy a range of summer-inspired food and drinks while relaxing in a lively tropical atmosphere across the hotel and pool areas.

Limited-Time 1-Day Park Hopper and Night Passport Options

Tokyo Disney Resort is introducing a flexible way to enjoy the parks this summer with three types of limited-time special admission tickets available from July 1 to September 14, 2026.

Two evening ticket options are available for guests who prefer visiting during cooler hours or for shorter stays, while the limited-time 1-Day Park Hopper Passport allows guests to enter one park in the morning, then move freely between Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea from 11:00 AM onwards.

All three options will be sold for a limited time through the official Tokyo Disney Resort website and app, giving guests more flexibility to tailor their summer visit.

Disney Resort Line

The Disney Resort Line will be offering tickets with designs inspired by summer at Tokyo Disney Resort at ticket machines at each station. The tickets make for a great (free) memento of your visit!
