ZIPAIR Tokyo will make history next year as the first airline to operate non-stop passenger flights between Japan and Florida. The low-cost carrier, a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, will run a limited number of special charter flights linking Tokyo Narita Airport and Orlando International Airport between February 23 and March 10, 2026.
The 7,251-mile service will operate round-trip on February 23, February 28, March 5, and March 10, 2026, using ZIPAIR’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Each flight will depart Narita in the afternoon and arrive in Orlando the same day, with return flights departing Orlando in the afternoon and arriving in Tokyo the following evening.
The exciting new move will give Floridians direct access to Tokyo Disney Resort like never before, while also creating a convenient gateway for Japanese travellers heading to the theme park capital of the world, home to Walt Disney World Resort! While the flights are currently planned as limited charter services, their success could pave the way for future direct connections between Japan and Florida.
Ticket sales for travel packages travelling from Japan are now available through JTB and HIS, while direct flight-only bookings via ZIPAIR’s website are expected to open in early December 2025.
As part of a joint promotion with Disney Destinations International, customers who travel on one of the ZIPAIR charter flights and visit Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, can take enjoy a private Disney character greeting at the resort and reserved viewing for EPCOT’s “Luminous: The Symphony of Us” nighttime spectacular, complete with desserts
