Frozen Inspired Anna Cocktail Review
EDIT: Please note that this drink has been discontinued as of August 31st, 2014
A piano is playing Disney tunes in the background while surrounded by the rich colors and bold geometric shapes of the Ambassador Hotel’s Art Deco design. This is where you will find the Hyperion Lounge and where you’ll find the Frozen inspired Anna cocktail being served.
This non-alcohol cocktail is not on the menu so you’ll have to ask your server. After seeing it on twitter and having tried and loved the Olaf non-alcohol cocktail at Dreamers Lounge we had to try it.
What Is Inside
This Anna inspired cocktail is appropriately a frozen cocktail and is a combination of Calpis, peach, strawberry and blueberry.
Presentation
The colours and presentation evoke Anna’s bright personality, the cocktail itself being a maroon color surrounded by a bright blue rimmed glass. The cocktail comes plated with flowers and a stencil of Anna’s name and decorative trim. The flavour itself is nice and suits the end of summer but is nothing extraordinary.
Should You Get It?
At 1,550 yen, about 16$ US, it’s a little pricey but if you are a fan of Frozen and want to sip an elegant cocktail over conversation with a friend or on a romantic date enjoying the atmosphere of the Hyperion Lounge or just want to enjoy ordering something exclusive off menu I would recommend it. If on the other hand you want something more whimsical and tropical but still themed to Frozen you should check out the Olaf cocktail at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel’s Dreamers Lounge.
