Duffy ‘Heartfelt Letters of Friendship’ Food & Merchandise at Tokyo DisneySea

Tokyo DisneySea is wrapping up the Duffy and Friends 20th Anniversary celebrations with a charming new event called Duffy and Friends’ Heartfelt Letters of Friendship. Fans of Duffy can look forward to exclusive merchandise, themed food souvenirs, colourful decorations across the park, and more.

Duffy & Friends Heartfelt Letters of Friendship will be offered from Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Duffy & Friends’ Heartfelt Letters of Friendship Story

Today is the day Mickey returns from his long voyage.
Duffy and his friends were wondering what happened while Mickey was away.
I was excited to share all the different things that had happened.

“That’s right! How about giving each of them a present with this feeling?”

Everyone was in favor of ShellieMay’s suggestion.
Duffy decided to convey his feelings through a letter, and when he finished writing,
He took a small bottle from the treasure chest and placed the letter inside.

When Duffy and his friends found out that Mickey had arrived at the port,
They each grab their presents and rush to Mickey.
Mickey couldn’t help but smile when he saw everyone.

“Lots of fun things happened while Mickey was away!”
“That’s right! I want to know soon.”

When Mickey opened the vial that Duffy gave him,
Everyone’s thoughts shone brightly like a rainbow and soared into the sky.

Decorations

Guests will find Heartfelt Letters of Friendship decorations in Mediterranean Harbor, Cape Cod and Lost River Delta. Expect banners, wall art and photo spots featuring Duffy and all seven friends.

Event Food and Drink

Cape Cod Cook Off and Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina are serving a sparkling orange and lychee drink themed after the anniversary’s dreamy rainbow look. It is topped with bubble-like decorations, and once mixed, you get a mix of orange sauce and lychee jelly.

Cape Cod Cook-Off also offers two sweet treats: a blueberry milk pudding with cheese mousse in a souvenir cup, and a caramel-chocolate apple crumble cake with a souvenir plate. Selected items can also come with a souvenir lunch case or drink bottle, perfect for taking a little of the celebration home.

Limited-Time Merchandise

The main highlight is the newly designed plush badges. All seven friends wear bright rainbow-coloured outfits created just for this collection. There is also a cute beret fitted with Duffy’s fluffy ears, a shoulder bag with Duffy peeking out from his letter to Mickey, a tote bag packed with cheerful artwork, and clingy plush toys holding tiny letters.

Fans can also pick up silhouette-shaped carabiners, plush badges of Mickey hugging Duffy, and letter sets inspired by the story. For collectors, there are blind-bag drawstring pouches featuring designs tied to the Colourful Happiness anniversary decorations. 

Merchandise will be available from McDuck’s Department Store from January 8th. A standby pass may be needed in store – be sure to check the official Tokyo Disney Resort app.

Hotel Offerings

Three restaurants at Hotel MiraCosta will offer themed menus featuring colourful dishes inspired by Duffy and his friends. Special drinks and playful plating help bring the story to life, making it a fun dining option for fans who want to keep the celebration going outside the park.

Disney Resort Line

The Disney Resort Line’s Colourful Happiness Liner will receive updated interior decorations, along with limited-time tickets featuring both the anniversary theme and the new Heartfelt Letters of Friendship artwork. These tickets will be available in limited numbers at all stations.
