Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s popular running event is set to return this November, with the “Magic Run Fest” taking over the park once again for two mornings of character-filled fun, themed races, and entertainment before the park opens to day guests. This year’s event will feature four themed races, ranging from casual fun runs to a full 10K challenge.
Taking place from November 28-29, 2026, the event invites runners to race through the streets and themed lands of Hong Kong Disneyland while being cheered on by favourite Disney characters including Mickey & Friends, Duffy & Friends, and characters from Frozen, Pixar, and Zootopia.
Duffy & Friends 3K
The adorable Duffy & Friends 3K returns once again, inviting guests to enjoy a relaxed run through Hong Kong Disneyland alongside Duffy and all of his friends. The race will take place on November 28, 2026, beginning at 8:10am.
Participants will receive race T-shirts and souvenirs, with finishers also receiving a commemorative medal at the finish line. Participants booking Kinki Nippon Tourist tour packages can also choose combo courses pairing the Duffy & Friends 3K with either the Frozen 3K or the Zootopia 10K.
Frozen 3K
Fans of Arendelle can once again take part in the Frozen 3K, scheduled for November 29, 2026, starting at 8:10am. The race will feature Frozen-themed entertainment and character support throughout the course. Select package options also allow runners to combine the Frozen 3K with the Pixar 5K.
Pixar 5K
The Pixar 5K returns for guests wanting a slightly longer challenge, taking place on November 28, 2026, beginning at 6:50am. While specific theming details have not yet been revealed, runners can likely expect appearances and entertainment inspired by Pixar favourites throughout the course.
Zootopia 10K
For guests looking for the biggest challenge of the weekend, the Zootopia 10K will take place on November 29, 2026, beginning at 7:00am. The race continues the energetic Zootopia theme introduced during previous run events at Hong Kong Disneyland, with theming inspired by the mammal metropolis.
