Universal Studios Japan Reveals New Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Merchandise and Food

Universal Studios Japan has revealed a new lineup of merchandise and food for Halloween Horror Nights 2026, including a first-ever collaboration with horror manga artist Junji Ito. The seasonal lineup features new designs and treats inspired by Tomie, Hamikuma, KATE and some of Universal Studios Japan’s most popular characters.

The new offerings will be available throughout the event, which runs from September 11 to November 8, 2026, as Universal Studios Japan celebrates the 15th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights during its 25th anniversary year.

First-Ever Tomie Collaboration

One of the biggest highlights is a new collaboration between Junji Ito’s Tomie and Universal Studios Japan’s Street Zombies.

The original artwork created for the collaboration shows Tomie wearing the same school uniform as the high school zombie appearing in this year’s Street Zombie experience, while carrying a Hamikuma plush. Tomie is depicted walking through zombie-filled streets with a defiant smile, alongside dialogue created specifically for the collaboration.

The collection includes a T-shirt, notebook with stickers, face towel and cosmetic keychain with charm. The merchandise will be available at Studio Style from September 9.

Spooky-Cute Halloween Merchandise and Food

Universal Studios Japan’s characters are getting Halloween Horror Nights makeovers, with Snoopy, Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi and the Minions appearing in spooky designs inspired by the event’s Street Zombies.

The food lineup includes a cocoa-flavoured bacon cutlet burger plate, a roast beef and croissant sandwich plate featuring My Melody and Kuromi, and a Snoopy-themed hamburger steak and omelet rice plate. Desserts include Hello Kitty apple cheesecake and Snoopy’s purple sweet potato Mont Blanc.

Related merchandise includes T-shirts, plush toys, mascot keychains and pair keychains. Food will be available at Studio Stars Restaurant from September 10, while merchandise launches at locations including Cinema 4-D Store from September 9.
