Japan is known for its face mask-wearing. Even during normal times, wearing a mask is quite common during allergy or flu season. It’s not until this year that we’ve seen face masks at the Disney Stores in Japan.
While there has been a small selection of face masks inside Tokyo Disney Resort, I’ve never seen them anywhere else.
That’s all changed this year, like many other things, and there’s a wide variety of face masks to choose from! Including Disney Princess face masks to Mickey Mouse.
Here’s what you’re able to find at Disney Stores in Japan!
Disney Face Masks at Disney Store Japan
The biggest selection of face masks is the washable cloth type. These come in three sizes of small, medium, and large for ¥660 (US$6.00) each.
If you have a longer or bigger face, the large may not fit. For myself, the large doesn’t fit. It’s best to keep that in mind if you’re wanting to buy these masks.
For those that wear glasses, like me, you’ll find that your glasses fog up. I’d avoid these and go with the disposable ones if you wear glasses.
Mask Case & Disposable Disney Face Masks
These adorable plastic cases come with disposable face masks. I’m quite a fan of the patterns on these and they’re charming! I find these fit larger faces better since they’re all one size. If you’re in a pinch, then these are the way to go.
Each package comes with 7 disposables masks and a plastic case for ¥600 ($US6.00).
If you wear glasses, these disposable ones are great for avoiding fogging up your glasses. There is a small wire on the top that’ll flush the mask against the nose, which helps reduce any fogging!
