Finding cheaper flights to Japan has expanded, with Zipair announcing it’ll start flying from Houston (IAH) to Narita (NRT) in Japan in March 2025! The first flights begin on March 4, 2025, and they’re having an inaugural sale on their standard seats for $333 (USD) one way!

Who is Zipair?
ZIPAIR Tokyo is a budget airline that started in 2018. It flies out of Narita Airport in Chiba, Japan, and to several airports in Asia and North America.
I’ve flown with Zipair three times to Los Angeles and Singapore. They’re a no-frills airline, and you pay extra for everything (except the Wi-Fi, which is free). I found Zipair to be comfortable, clean, and friendly staff. If you know what you’re getting yourself into, the lower cost may be worth it.
Their full-flat seats are quite comfortable, and while they cost significantly more than economy seats, they are much cheaper than those of other airlines. If you want me to do a full review, let me know in the comments!
