How to View Mt. Fuji from Tokyo Disney Resort

Tokyo Disney Resort has no shortage of beautiful and unique scenery to capture with your camera. One of the most unique photo opportunities is of Mt. Fuji. Next time you are at the resort, try and capture a photo of Japan’s most famous mountain from either Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea.

Mt. Fuji can be a challenge to photograph due to the distance from the parks.  Weather is an important factor too.  However, on a clear day you should be able to see Fuji-san perfectly! Photos are courtesy of one of our official photographers Duy Phan Photography.

Tokyo Disneyland Park

There is only one location from within the park you can see Mt. Fuji.

At the entrance to the park, take a look to your right before entering World Bazaar.  If it’s clear enough of a day, you should be able to see Mt. Fuji above the Monorail.

Tokyo DisneySea

The best location to view Mt. Fuji is on the bow of the S.S. Columbia (if it is not closed). You can easily access this from the floor which the Teddy Roosevelt Lounge is located.

Bonus: You can get an excellent view of Mt. Prometheus too. If you have a wide enough lens you should be able to get both mountains in the same shot.

Outside the Resort

The walkway from Bon Voyage to Tokyo Disneyland has an “okay” view of Mt. Fuji. Under the covering which says “Tokyo Disney Resort”, if you look to your right between the trees and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, you will see Mt. Fuji.

Tokyo Disneyland Station

Go to the top of the Monorail station in front of Tokyo Disneyland station and go through the ticket gates. Go left of the gates and head right to the end. On a clear day you will see Mt. Fuji.
