Starting July 8, guests visiting Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse at Ghibli Park can watch Night in the Valley of Witches, a new short animated film created specifically for the park. Directed by Goro Miyazaki and Akihiko Yamashita, the film is set within the park’s own Witch’s Valley area, making for a truly immersive experience.
Screenings will take place inside the Orion Theater, located within the Grand Warehouse. The theatre is popular for screening rarely scene Ghibli short films. A special opening day screening event will be held featuring both directors. After the film, they’ll share behind-the-scenes insights about the production. Attendance is limited to 150 guests and requires advance registration.
To watch “Night in the Valley of the Witches,” you will need to reserve and purchase a ticket that grants you entry to the Ghibli Warehouse. Tickets are available by reservation only, with bookings for July admissions opening from 2:00 pm on May 10. This includes Grand Warehouse tickets that feature the special screening of Night in the Valley of the Witches along with the stage greeting event.
