To mark the release of Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway, arriving in cinemas across Japan on April 10, the limited-time “Detective Conan Cafe” will open at eight locations in six cities from April 10 through summer. This year’s theme is ‘Port Town Retro,’ bringing a stylish, retro-modern setting inspired by historic seaside towns, paired with a menu full of nostalgic Western favourites.
Detective Conan Cafe will open at eight locations across six cities, including Tokyo, Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, Miyagi, and Hokkaido, with most running from April through late June or early August. If you’re heading out to catch the latest chapter in the Detective Conan franchise, this cafe makes for the perfect post-movie stop!
Limited-Time Menu
The menu is split into two periods, with the first lineup available from opening day through mid-May. The opening selection leans into nostalgic Western-style favourites with a clever Conan spin, including a theatrical take on classic spaghetti and a hearty beef stew hamburger served on a themed plate.
Alongside the seasonal dishes, a standard menu will be available throughout the run. Guests can order à la carte or upgrade to one of the themed set options. The second round of menu items arrives from late May, with full details to be shared on the cafe’s official website on April 27.
Full-year Menu
A mix of fried shrimp, pork cutlet, and cream croquette served on a special Conan Cafe plate.
A set of Conan-shaped waffle, petite brioche, salad, and onion soup.

A set of rice shaped like a bow tie voice changer, salad, and onion soup.
Inspired by Edogawa Conan, this shortcake is layered with strawberries and cream and topped with blue cheese snacks.
Refreshments are a big deal here, with plenty of character-inspired drinks. Each is ¥1,090 and comes with one of 12 original coasters. Designs change, so fans will want to visit more than once.
First Half Menu
This Neapolitan pasta is made with powdered cheese to give it the gorgeous look of fluttering white feathers.
Pour the European-style curry over rice and enjoy it like a fallen angel.
Pudding a la mode is inspired by angel wings and is served with fruit and ice cream.

The Movie Release Commemorative Menu Vol.1 will be available for a limited time only from April 24th to May 17thduring the first half of the year. Here’s a sneak peak at the menu – more info to come!
A Japanese-style pasta dish inspired by Hagiwara Chihaya, with grilled mackerel and a subtle lemon-scented shaved ice bean paste.
This butterfly pea tea is flavored with cassis and pineapple, and is inspired by the teaser visual for the movie “Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway.”
Souvenirs
Guests can purchase exclusive tableware including a branded plate, cutlery set, renge spoon and soup mug, plus dessert spoons with collectible charms and dolomite coasters. Many of these items are only available when ordered alongside eligible menu items.

Like most themed cafes, Detective Conan Cafe comes with a huge range of exclusive merchandise that fans will want to get their hands on. You’ll find retro and marine tin badges, acrylic keychains and stands, postcards, eco bags, and a bow tie-shaped blanket inspired by Conan’s voice changer.

How reservations work
There are two ways to book your table:
- Regular reservation – ¥715 per person + menu order
- Premium reservation – ¥3,850 per person + menu order, which gets extra goodies
Both include the exclusive “Invitation” novelty item. Premium reservations also come with a premium acrylic keychain, acrylic stand, clear pouch, puzzle book and shopper bag.
Visitors who order from the menu also get a free Puzzle Book, and drink orders score an original coaster. There are other perks for merch purchases and repeat visits too.
