As Shanghai Disney Resort celebrates its 10th anniversary, Disney has officially revealed the name of the resort’s long-awaited third hotel. During a special anniversary event, Disney announced that the new property will be called Disney Enchanted Star Hotel. The new hotel has been under construction since breaking ground in August 2023.
The new deluxe hotel will become the third on-site accommodation option at Shanghai Disney Resort, joining the existing Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel. Disney Enchanted Star Hotel will feature 400 guest rooms and draw inspiration from Shanghai’s distinctive early 20th-century architectural heritage, incorporating Art Nouveau influences throughout its design.
Located on the edge of Wishing Star Lake, the hotel will offer views of Shanghai Disneyland while providing guests with a range of new indoor and outdoor recreational facilities.
The announcement comes as Shanghai Disney Resort continues to expand beyond its current offerings. In November 2025, Disney also revealed plans for a fourth resort hotel, which will be located near the entrance to Shanghai Disneyland and become the closest hotel to the park.
