“I’m gonna wreck it!” – Disneyland Christmas Day Three

Part three of our Disneyland Christmas Trip Report 2012! You can catch up on day one and two to read up on the magic. Our final day started off bright and early around 7am. We opted to take a taxi to the park simply because our feet were killing us, also we’re lazy so don’t judge. Since we enjoyed Carsland so much from the previous day it was decided we would wait in line again for FastPasses for Radiator Springs Racer. This time around John went and got us Starbucks while I held our place in line. Your favourite drink first…

Denied Alcohol at Carthay Circle & Carsland – Disneyland Day Two

Our second day in Disneyland began incredibly early, for a vacation, as we lined up for our Radiator Springs Racer FastPass at 7:50am in Disney California Adventure. The wait to get the FastPasses was roughly 40 minutes and the line went from Cathay Circle all the way to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. They allowed guests to begin lining up inside the park around 7:30am, so we were actually a little late but we eventually obtained FastPasses which were for 11am. With FastPasses in hand for Radiator Springs Racers we made our way to Cars Land to finally see…

    Our Walt Disney World Engagement

This happened last year, but I figured it is time to share this amazing proposal with the world. It all started with a Disney Princess scavenger hunt.. which then turned into a wonderful vacation! It was a complete surprise and it only got better as he proposed to me at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Cinderella’s castle in Magic Kingdom!! I can’t believe he did so much for me… he is amazing!!! ♥ So the proposal began Christmas morning. I woke up to find an envelope on our bedroom door. It was a scavenger hunt to find the Disney Princesses!!! Each…

Typography Inspiration at Walt Disney World

Our reader Karen Kavett recently visited Walt Disney World for the very first time and created an incredibly unique Trip Report to share with all of you. While partaking in all the usual activities she took the time to admire all the beautiful Typography that is featured all throughout the Magic Kingdom. March 20, 2013 was my first ever trip to Walt Disney World. I was in Orlando for the YouTube conference Playlist Live and had been to Orlando several times before, but being huge Harry Potter fans, my friends and I had always only gone to Universal Studios for…

A Christmas Fantasy Parade – Disneyland Day One

Our third Disney trip of 2012 and we make it to Disneyland for Christmas! Three days of holiday magic as we visit Carsland for the first time and experience everything Disneyland Resort had to offer for the Christmas season! Let’s get started with our first day shall we? We arrived in Disneyland in the evening and just in time to secure a , not so awesome, spot for the Christmas Fantasy Parade. The park was wall to wall people which made it a bit difficult to get a spot for the parade. We managed to get all the way to…

Three Disney Resorts, Three Magical Experiences in 2012

This year we were fortunate enough to be able to visit three of the five Disney Resorts. Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. We will take a look at the trip reports, videos,  and photos from the past year. Each resort was magical in it’s own way and we recorded each and every moment to share. New Years 2012 in Walt Disney World In Walt Disney World we rung in 2012 by spending 19, yes 19 hours, in the Magic Kingdom. We did everything from all the attractions, to using garbage cans as a dinner table, to catching a nap…

Epcot30 – Illumination on the Horizon

I didn’t know quite what to expect when I came to Epcot as it approached its 30 th anniversary. Well, I mean, of course I knew some stuff. It was the annual Food & Wine Festival, after all, and I haven’t missed Food & Wine since I first discovered it three years ago and got addicted. That lamb chop in Australia; I mean, sweet marsupials, if that isn’t one of the best things you’ll ever eat.  I knew Test Track would be down for an overhaul of its design. I knew Judi Dench would say the word papyrus as aristocratically as possible during the…

Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary – Final Day (July 7th, 2012)

Our final day in Disneyland Paris began just like every other morning, bright and early! If you’re just joining us then check out all the past days here. Since our time was limited before we had to catch the Eurostar back to London we only had time for a few attractions. Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Lancelot Carousel, & Peter Pan’s Flight were the only attractions we were able to fit in before 09:30. Would have loved to have ridden Phantom Manor & Big Thunder Mountain one last time but alas they were not open for the extra magic hours. We…
